About Us

AICCT was established by Thungela Operations (Pty) Ltd (TOPL) and Anglo American Inyosi Coal (Pty) Ltd (AAIC) in 2007 and it became operational in 2009 as a public benefit organization, funded jointly by the donors on an annual basis, and its sole object is empowering the communities as defined in its Trust Deed.
